How To Survive In Tough Times: Green Practices to Help Businesses Thrive in Todays Recession on Friday, April 24, 2009, at the DoubleTree Hotel Tucson at Reid Park, 445 S. Alvernon Way in Tucson.
This event is for companies of every size, representing every industry, that want to learn how to position their business for a strong future. Special guest speaker Jacquelyn Ottman will address concerns and opportunities specific to

s current markets, while presenting powerful data explaining the monumental shift in consumer activity that has been growing for years and is now the model of how profitable businesses will operate well into the future.
Jacquelyn Ottman has been a consultant to over 60 Fortune 500 companies, and is considered to be the nations leading expert on Green Marketing. The author of Green Marketing: Opportunity for Innovation, and founder of J. Ottman Consulting, a marketing design firm for green innovations, products and services, she had a major influence on the growth of the U.S. EPAs Energy Star program. She also was the keynote speaker at the 2008 Sustainable Brands Conference, the worlds largest industry event related to sustainable business practices.
Presenting information about the Green Media Alliance will be Steven W. Lynn, vice president of both UniSource Energy Corporation and Tucson Electric Power.
Cost to attend the morning workshop, 8:30-11:30 a.m., is $150 per person; the workshop has limited seating.
